1) Everyone who is bitching that Jeter only got the Gold Glove is because of his team and the media's obsession with him here is what I have to say...Call the God Damn WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMBULENCE. Jeter is not the defensive liability all the critics make him out to be, and yes, he won because he is a Yankee. You can make the argument that someone like Yuniesky Betancourt, but since they Mariners/Royals are essentially useless franchises defense there really doesn't matter nearly what it does for the Yankees. Ichiro stands out, and he also has the reputation, that's why he gets it every year and why Jeter getting it is understandable.
