#AL AL (33): NOFX

We want our fight we want our thugs, we want our burns we want our drugs. Where is the violent apathy? This fucking record's rated G

Next up is NOFX, the masters and jesters of punk rock

Wiki says:
NOFX is an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1983 in Los Angeles. The band was formed by vocalist and bassist Fat Mike and guitarist Eric Melvin. Drummer Erik Sandin joined them shortly afterward. In 1991 El Hefe joined to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up. The band rose to popularity in 1994 with their album Punk in Drublic which was certified gold.

NOFX has released 12 studio full lengths, 15 EPs, and many 7" singles. The group has independently sold over 6 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful independent acts of all time. The band also aired their own show on Fuse TV entitled NOFX: Backstage Passport

What is there to say about NOFX that hasn't already been said. They're both fantastic and hilarious both recorded and live. Hell, the notes in their album booklets make me laugh. They know when to be serious (founding Punkvoter.com), Responsible (creating Fat Wreck Chords), and how to party (everything else). Check the live video, front left of the crowd. You'll see the Yankee hat....

Up Next: A band that is pretty much the direct opposite of NOFX
