Yes, I say "Red Socks" and not "Red Sox" because "Sox" is not a word, "Socks" is. I do not recognize their incorrect spelling of the word and therefore stick with the "cks" spelling. I might go with the original "Red Stockings" in the future, we'll see.
Case and point: when I hit spell check on this, it tells me that I spelled "Sox" wrong twice and "cks"....not "Socks". This is because once agian, "Sox" is not a word.
